Berg takes new BFI role
LONDON -- The British Film Institute has hired Eddie Berg towards the recently produced role of director of close ties. Berg, who had formerly offered as artistic director of BFI Southbank since 2005, will require in the role in September, where he'll be accountable for leading the close ties and start up business possibilities teams to bolster the film sector globally and through the U.K. Berg will are accountable to BFI deputy chief professional Tim Cagney and can play a proper role within the BFI, particularly developing the BFI's close ties technique for film in Blighty, working collaboratively with and taking care of existing partners. He'll also concentrate on developing new worldwide and national business close ties from both private and public industries.
